Can a CSP eliminate cross-site scripting?
Content Security Policy limits where scripts and other resources can load. A strong policy usually depends on application-specific nonces or hashes, careful deployment and monitoring; copying a generic policy can break a product.
What the engine observes
- Presence of an enforced Content-Security-Policy
- unsafe-inline and unsafe-eval signals
- frame-ancestors as an embedding restriction
The checker does not test XSS payloads or claim that a CSP bypass is impossible.
What happens after a check?
Read the observations and their evidence first. Save the private report if useful. To go deeper, verify domain control and agree a precise scope, testing window and resource limits. High-impact candidates remain candidates until appropriate validation is complete.
