CONTROLLED FIXTURE / NOT CUSTOMER DATA

What good evidence
looks like.

An intentionally incomplete configuration, a deterministic observation and a retest. This illustrates the reporting format, not a paid assessment or a fictional specialist sign-off.

SANITIZED IN-PROCESS TEST FIXTURE · NO THIRD-PARTY TARGET

Missing content-type restriction

LOWA1VERIFIED IN FIXTURE

Observed evidence

Before: X-Content-Type-Options absent
After: X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff
Check: headers.nosniff
Input: controlled response fixture
Method: deterministic HTTP header inspection

Impact and limitations

Browsers may infer a content type when responses are ambiguous. Applicability depends on content handling and the application. This observation does not prove an exploitable vulnerability.

Remediation

Send X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff with accurate content types. Test application compatibility.

Retest

The same deterministic check returns PASS when the fixture supplies the expected header. Missing coverage would remain unassessed, not marked fixed.

Methodology mapping

ASVS 5.0.0 Web Frontend Security · WSTG-v42-CONF-07. Methodology references do not imply exhaustive coverage or certification.

Where a human is mandatory

A cross-tenant authorization candidate or a wallet-signing critical candidate cannot be confirmed by this sample flow. Required H2/W3 reviewers must be assigned, onboarded and approve the exact build.
